Laval is home to a large variety of vocational/technical centers, colleges, and universities. Some of these include: College Montmorency, CDI College, Herzing College, Universit?de Montr蒩l, Universit?du Qu蒪ec ~{($~} Montr蒩l, Delta College, Centre de formation Comp蓆ences-2000, Centre de formation en m蓆allurgie de Laval, Chomedey Centre, Centre de formation horticole de Laval, Centre de formation Paul-蒻ile-Dufresne, 蒫ole hô teli~{((~}re de Laval, 蒫ole polym蒫anique de Laval, Centre de formation Le Chantier, and Institut de protection contre les incendies du Qu蒪ec.

English schools from eight school boards were amalgamated to form the new Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board. Laurenval School Board, Laurentian School Board and Laurentienne School Trustees were merged, and the English sector of the other school boards of the Laval, Laurentides and Lanaudi~{((~}re administrative regions joined to form the new administrative entity, The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board.

The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board is the third largest English school board of the Province of Qu蒪ec, Canada, containing 26 elementary schools, 10 high schools, 2 adult and vocational centres, in which over 15,000 students are enrolled.
